Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to attend?

Children eligible to attend Salvaggio Academy must meet the following criteria: come from a low-income family, be 5 to 12 years of age at the time of enrollment, have the ability to learn, and be free of serious behavioral problems likely to disrupt the classroom.

Does Salvaggio Academy offer a special education program?

No, we are not a licensed special education school. Students applying to our program with a current IEP or 504 Plan must provide all necessary documentation to assess whether or not Salvaggio Academy can provide the appropriate services prior to scheduling academic placement testing. We can only accept students with IEPs and 504 Plans for whom we have the appropriate services already in place. Alternative placement recommendations will be made if we are unable to accommodate your student and their special education service needs.

How much does it cost?

Admission to Salvaggio Academy is 100% free to families who qualify for enrollment.

How is the school funded?

Salvaggio Academy is primarily supported by CAI and the Salvaggio Family. Additional giving from our partners and the community helps Salvaggio Academy fulfill its mission of instilling a love of learning and providing educational advancement opportunities for qualifying children in the Lehigh Valley.
