Creating Lifelong Learners

At Salvaggio Academy, we are dedicated to ensuring our students become lifelong learners equipped to live meaningful, purposeful lives that allow them to contribute to the well-being and vibrancy of their local communities. We teach our students to care for themselves and others so as they mature, they stand ready to make a difference.

Our mission is to instill a love of learning in our students that will last a lifetime. We cultivate this passion by creating an environment where curiosity is encouraged and celebrated. Our dynamic, hands-on approach to education ensures that students not only acquire knowledge but also develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to become independent, lifelong learners. Through a diverse curriculum, we aim to equip our students with the intellectual curiosity and resilience to pursue education and growth throughout all stages of life.

At Salvaggio Academy, we're not just teaching for today; we're nurturing the curious, confident, and motivated minds that will continue to learn and lead into the future.

“I have been here for three years now and what I'm looking forward to next year is getting a scholarship, also definitely achieving my future goals. Of course seeing my friends again, and spending the last year at my school with the community.”

You were at Salvaggio Academy from grades 2 – 5, what are some of your best memories and how does it help you now?

“I remember the great teachers and students of Salvaggio Academy who supported me through my journey in elementary school, now I can talk to people more comfortably. I also remember a decent chunk of the Kona Ice days and trips to the DaVinci Science Center [before Salvaggio Academy moved to the building]. I learned where to go when I wanted a snow cone and where to go when I was bored.”

You were at Salvaggio Academy in 5th grade, what are some of your best memories and how does it help you now?

“Despite my short time there, some of my best memories are meeting many great new people even though I was afraid. I also had new teachers that I had never met before and they helped a lot during my time at the academy. The kids that I met were so kind and welcoming to me. They helped me get used to the school and I made new friends very quickly. The teachers were also very supportive and understanding. They helped make sure I got an amazing learning experience. These memories have helped me now because I have continued to do very well in academics. I have also learned to not be afraid to meet and speak to new people and to not be afraid of new opportunities that come my way. Salvaggio Academy helped me come out of my shell and I will be forever grateful to them.”
